报告摘要: Sterile insect technique has been successfully applied to the biological control of wild mosquito population. In order to study the effectiveness of this technique, mathematical models have been formulated according to different releasing strategies of sterile mosquitoes to study the interactive dynamics between sterile and wild mosquitoes. In this talk, we will discuss periodic solutions for a new model with impulsive releases of sterile mosquitoes in both cases of without and with time delay.

报告人简介: : 艾尚兵，阿拉巴马汉茨维尔大学教授、博士生导师，分别于1984、1987年在山东大学获得数学系本科、硕士学位，1987-1993年留山东大学工作；1993-1997年在匹兹堡大学理学院任研究生助理；1998-2000在匹兹堡大学理学院任助教；1999年在匹兹堡大学获得博士学位；2000-2002年在佐治亚理工学院动力系统与非线性研究中心做博士后； 2002年在阿拉巴马汉茨维尔大学任助教；2008年任教授。艾尚兵教授是微分方程、动力学系统及其应用等领域的国际知名专家。主要从事微分方程，动力系统，泛函微分方程，时滞差分方程问题。在SIAM J. Appl. Math.，SIAM. J. Math. Anal.，J. Differential Equations，Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.，Proc. Roy. Soc. Edinburgh Sect. A，Nonlinearity，J. Math. Biol.，J. Dynam. Differential Equations等国际知名期刊上发表论文30余篇。
