报告题目：Oscillatory Integral and Newton Polyhedron

报告摘要：In this talk, we first introduce a class of oscillatory integral operators with the kernel being smooth function and compact support. Stein and Phong systematacially investigated those operators and obtained the sharp decay estimates. In fact, Stein's results answered an important conjecture which was put by the distinguished mathematician Arnold. That is, the sharp decay estimate is determinated by the Newton polyhedron of the phase function of the oscillatory integral. Finally, we will give the sharp decay estimates of the some oscillatory integral operators.

报告人简介：燕敦验，中国科学院大学学术委员会委员，本科部部长、书记，玉泉书院副院长，二级教授，博士生导师。主要研究方向为调和分析与Fourier分析，主持四项国家自然科学基金项目，一项广东省与中国科学院的省—院合作项目；参与一项国家自然科学基金重点项目、四项国家自然科学基金项目及一项中国科学院知识创新重点项目等重要研究课题。燕敦验教授已在国内外重要学术期刊发表研究论文80余篇，与他人合作的学术专著 《Singular Integrals and Related Topics》，《Bochner-Riesz Means on Euclidean spaces》由国际知名出版公司World Scientific出版；翻译美国科学院院士、Wolf奖得主Elias M.Stein等人的专著《Fourier Analysis: An Introduction》一部。
